Aerial Film & Photography

Get the shot from a different perspective.

Mountain Air Helicopters provides aerial support for film, television, photography, and commercial productions. Our pilots work closely with production teams to safely capture the aerial footage and perspectives each project requires.

From the Southwest to the Screen

Mountain Air has supported film and media productions throughout the Southwest, including work flown by Director of Operations Dwight Jones.

Our experience includes aerial filming in challenging terrain, coordinated production flights, and specialized helicopter operations for camera work.

Brooks Running (2025)
This one is really cool because the production credit specifically lists Dwight Jones — Pilot and Mountain Air Heli — Helicopter, along with the aerial camera operator and production team.

End of the Road (2022)
This is a particularly strong one. Dwight Jones is publicly credited as “Helicopter Pilot” in the film's crew/cast listings, and the film is a Netflix production.

Vertical Magazine — “The Mountain King” (2016)
This wasn't a movie, but it is a legitimate aviation-media feature. Vertical Magazine specifically flew with Dwight for a special aerial photo shoot involving Mountain Air's Lama.
